by Ella Halliday, a mum of three, with a genuine
understanding of the sector, the pressures you are
under and the important role you play in
supporting children and families.

Meet The Team

Ella Halliday is the Founder and Managing Director of EMHR Group Limited, with over 15 years’ experience in HR across education, not-for-profit, local government and tech start-ups.
She holds a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management from Arden University, a CIPD Level 7 qualification and is a Chartered Member of the CIPD.
Ella founded EMHR Group in April 2023 to support SME and childcare business owners with HR that is practical, honest and grounded in the real world — not just policies on paper.
Her sweet spot is complex employee relations, managing difficult conversations and helping leaders build positive, high-performing team cultures. Known for her straight-talking, pragmatic style, Ella works as a true partner to businesses, giving clear, commercial and people-first advice.
Outside of work, Ella is a mum to three girls and enjoys home improvement projects, long dog walks and crafting.

Natalie joined the team in July 2025. She has been
working in HR for 17 years and has developed
a real passion for partnering businesses in the full
spectrum of People strategy.
With experience in lots of different industries
and specialisms, Natalie loves being a true generalist. Her approach is let’s get through this together,
and when appropriate, let’s inject a bit of
humour into the mix!
Natalie loves singing with her choir, her toddler,
her friends, but don’t worry she won’t force it upon you!
Her spirit animal is her actual dog Rory and she’d love
to chat about what you are binge watching on TV.

Jennie joined the team in November 2024.
Jennie has a wealth of experience supporting
senior managers within large organisations such as
Microsoft, and most recently in Events and Marketing.
Jennie is an organisation queen and supports the team
with administration, HR systems, content creation
and policy and legal document creation.
Jennie is currently undertaking her CIPD level 5
to better support our clients this year.

Evie joined the team in May 2025. She has a BA
in Modern Languages from the University of Exeter and two years of marketing experience across technology,
education and, now, HR.
Evie is passionate about photography, video making
and content creation. At work you'll find her flitting
between the Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
She enjoys tinkering around on the website,
copywriting and generally making content look pretty.
In Evie's spare time you'll probably find her
hanging upside down whether that be in a handstand
or on the circus silks!
